We're all settled into the apartment...well, sort of. Things are still a bit unorganized around here because I can't seem to find a place for everything, but we managed to pull off Christmas. I set my alarm for 6:30 because I knew that if we were going to make it to our 10:00 church meeting on time, we would need to get up early to open presents. The girls came in and woke us up around 6:15 before my alarm had a chance to go off. This is what things looked like on Christmas eve:
Victor has spent a lot of time hanging out in the tree- since he doesn't get to go outside and climb trees on a regular basis, I have permitted this behavior.
I didn't take a ton of pictures on Christmas morning because the lighting at 6:30 am in our apartment is pretty crappy and they were all turning out blurry. But here's Greta opening "The Gross Game" and Brian with his new keyboard.
Brian really wants to learn how to play the piano and has been on his keyboard all week. He's trying to teach Greta as well because he has a secret (well, not really so secret) dream that the girls will have their own band someday and be hot rocker chicks. They have been watching tutorials and practicing the song "Ob-La-Di" by the Beatles and are sounding pretty good. Brian's ability to "play by ear" really fascinates me sometimes.

is Brian planning to be the band manager? I love how your cardtable playhouse turned out. I saw one of these a while back. How fun! I like Victor, he's growing on me...so long as I never have to deal with him in person.
