Halloween Party

Like a month ago, Greta announced to me that she wanted to be a lion for Halloween. So, I did my own simple version of a lion with a brown hoodie and a skirt. Brian said that she didn't look like much of a lion, but she loved it and I thought it was kind of fun and girly. I decided to have Jade be Minnie Mouse this year because she LOVES Mickey and Minnie. She already had the pink dress, so I just had to buy black tights, a black leotard, and some ears from the Disney Store. So easy.

I went pretty simple with my costume this year as well. I found the idea for it on Pinterest. Gotta love it! I simply bought some black sweats and did a classic skeleton costume using a freezer paper stencil. But the twist was adding a little baby skeleton on the belly since I'm pregnant.

Wednesday night we had our ward Halloween party, which I was kind of in charge of planning. I'm VERY glad that it's over and done with! I had to go to the church a little early to help set up for it and had Greta and Jade with me because Brian was still at work. We had a "cupcake decorating" table and they would not stay away from the little bowls of candy while I was trying to get things organized! I was already kind of tired and frustrated by the time the party started and Brian got there late because he was still putting his skeleton make-up on. Our church building isn't very big and it got very crowded and very hot. blech.

I survived though and it's one thing that is crossed off of my to-do list. woohoo! Next up...the primary program.

Nice costumes! They look great. Our primary program was last week! Wahoo! Done for 1 yr! :) What a good feeling. Did I miss the announcement? Is baby#3 a boy or girl?

Oh, I forgot to mention that your life sounds very similar to mine-- in charge of the trunk-or-treat in the midst of the Primary Program. Busy, busy! Our PP was a week BEFORE the Trunk or Treat. I am relieved. Hope your PP goes/went well!!!
