Funny Kids

I think I've mentioned before that Brian taught Greta to recognize all of the 50 states last summer. Sometimes it amazes me that she's able to memorize things so well. The past couple of days she's been cracking me up. I gave her some saltine crackers to eat and after biting into one, she said, "Look Mom! It's Arkansas!" I looked at the cracker and then I went and grabbed a map (I didn't have any clue what shape it was) and sure enough, the cracker looked like Arkansas! The next day she did the same thing, but this time it was New Jersey! I made her hold it up for a picture before she ate the rest of the cracker. She did this without even looking at a map for reference! Crazy.


My other crazy girl, Jade, is REALLY into shoes right now. She is constantly getting everyone's shoes and parading around the house in them. Well, last night before I went to bed, I went to go and check on the girls and I found Jade asleep like this:


I guess she got out of bed, found some of Greta's old sneakers in the closet, put them on, and fell back asleep. Too funny.
