It's weird to think that Brian and I have been married for 6 years today! It doesn't seem like it's been that long, but in those six years, we've had two kids, survived grad school, lived in 4 states, and bought a house. Here's a recap of July 29th, 2005:
$100 from Grandpa Jack for the honeymoon ;)
All of my siblings! (Fletcher and Hannah look so little)
Sisters!
I really like this kissing picture of us and our parents- I think it's super cute.
Trying to cram all of Brian's family into one picture. When we got married, he already had 6 nephews and 4 nieces. I just realized that Jordan isn't in this picture- where the heck was he?
This is the picture that I have enlarged and framed in our living room:
This would be a picture of Brian surprising me by grabbing my butt. And our wonderful photographer caught it just at the right moment.
Brian's siblings had a tradition of all getting the newlyweds padded toilet seats as gag gifts. This was the wonderful assortment that we ended up with (and promptly returned to the store to buy things that we really wanted):
The traditional cake in the face. Some of it ended up on my dress...
A little musical treat from my sisters
And me bawling my eyes out after my dad sang a song
Happy 6th wedding anniversary to my wonderful husband, Brian! I love you!

Awww... loved that post. That is a good idea to blog about your wedding... it not only takes you back to the day, but like you, I wasn't blogging back then. OK - so did you get weird looks returning all those toilet seats? :) I just remember you got married very shortly after we got back from Europe. Fun memories!
happy anniversary!!!
btw, I just realized we both know the Muirs! small mormon world! :)
Love you too snugg'em bits
You. Returned. A Hello Kitty padded toilet seat. Why would you return a Hello Kitty padded toilet seat.
Padded toilet seats are pretty creepy. If I had known you back then, I totally would have given it to you.
